We have been celebrating the Autumn Equinox over the last two weeks. Classes have been looking at all the changing colours in the Forest at this time of year. We have looked at leaves, sorting them into colours and size, touching them, painting with them and have even gone fishing for them. Another exciting autumn activity using our senses has been mark making with Blackberries. The Blackberries made lovely purple marks as we squashed them, smelt sweet and tasted beautiful.
Aside to treating our senses we have been building towers, racing conkers, making alternating patterns, discovering different forest textures as well as enjoying the hammocks, swings and digging pit.
