We have had a busy start to the new term in the Forest, with lots of topic work and exploring. 1W,1H and 1P have been thinking about themselves. We used clay and natural items found around the forest to make our own clay faces and framed forest faces. 2W and 2B thought about their topic book ‘Room on the Broom’ adding their favourite characters to their own mini broom sticks and searching for their favourite characters using the magnifying glasses. Green and Blue group have focussed on making some great choices in the Forest, using their A.L.D boards to choose which activities they wanted to do. Lunch clubs have also been up and running with pupils enjoying the swings, Hammocks, painting tree counting ladybirds and making delicious meals in the mud kitchen.
