We have had a great start to the new half term with classes enjoying the spring sunshine. In the first week all groups helped to make and decorate Green Hearts to support Climate Coalition celebrating the importance of outside spaces. This week classes have covered lots of topics including Evolution. For this 3J took part in The Battle of the birds, pupils used their fine motor skills to see which birds beak could pick up the most food. Nobody was surprised to find that the Eagle won. They also explored life cycles and pan printing. Dinosaurs visited the forest on Tuesday, 3Z enjoyed digging for bones and going on a Dinosaur hunt to find them. 3H thought about their growing topic, planting Willow and making seed bombs to scatter.3F decorated Ramadan lanterns using natural items and enjoyed painting in a different style. Early years have enjoyed mark making on pans and exploring water to find what floats and what sinks. Lunch time groups have enjoyed using the Hammocks and swings to enjoy the sunshine.
