Pupils have had a lovely couple of weeks in the Forest. From exploring ‘Chai seed’ Frogspawn to making Eid clay pots and crescent moons in readiness for Eid. 3J tested their fire lighting skills in preparation for two weeks of cooking. They looked at different types of Tinder and made their own mini fires. They have also used great fine motor skills to whittle sticks and decorate them. 3F made some lovely Pizzas to bake over the fire and 3B had a full on BBQ with burgers and Sausages. When we haven’t been thinking abut Eid or cooking up delicious meals. Classes have enjoyed building, searching for mini beasts, making birds nests and of course enjoying the spring sunshine in the hammocks and on the swings.
