Lot’s going on in the Forest this week! On Monday 4H made some wonderful spinning wheels, using the hand drills and wooden discs. 2P’s session had to be moved indoors due to the high wind but they enjoyed squishing Berries to make red riding hoods cape red. On Tuesday 2R celebrated ‘Wassail’ wishing the Forest well for the growing year. They made flamed torches, listened to Wassailing songs, had a parade and toasted the Forest with warm apple juice. In the afternoon 2H helped give the ladybirds some spots using sticks as paint brushes and enjoyed the freedom of the forest area. Caterpillars did some beautiful rainbow painting and also enjoyed making music with the pots and pans. The lunch time clubs have enjoyed the hammocks and swings and investigating a big branch that had blown down over the weekend.
