It’s the start of a very busy but short half term in the Forest with lots of ‘drop in’ sessions and ‘Duke of Edinburgh’ groups using the area for their cooking and skills work.
This week, drop in session have made the most of the sun and shade enjoying lots of a activities including making their own bubble wands with sticks and pipe cleaners, relaxing in the hammocks, using the spelling stones and also sorting objects they found in the forest. On Thursday 2B celebrated ‘May Day’ and their first session by printing flowers to make ‘May’ bunting. They explored the different forest areas, with pupils building, rolling, balancing and even washing up after their hot chocolate.
