We have kept cool in the Forest this week with lots of calming activities. On Monday before it got too hot, Butterflies finished their year in the Forest by cooking Garlic Bread over the campfire. It smelt delicious. On Tuesday 4A started work to make wire sculptures. They chose a cardboard shape and carefully wound wire around and around it. We will post the finished results next week. 2R also cooled down on Wednesday by searching for Rainforest animals hidden within ice. They found a Gorilla, Crocodile and Tiger! This week all the classes have been working on making and designing a water Shute. 4A started it on Tuesday with classes adding to it and redesigning it as the week went on, to see who could get the water to travel the furthest. 4W even managed to sail leaf boats down it by the end of the week with the most water moved. Lunch time clubs have been busy making mud pies, soup and feeding the three Bears who came to visit.
