It’s been a very busy and wet end to half term in the Forest. Classes have enjoyed cooking a variety of dishes over the campfire. We have cooked tomato pasta, toast, Jacket potatoes, baked bananas, loaded chips, pitta pizzas and Valentines pancakes. Everybody enjoyed preparing the meals, watching them cook and more importantly tasting them. When we haven’t been cooking we have tried our hand at flipping pancakes, threading Valentines hearts, relaxing in the hammocks and using the swings. 3C have been particularly busy creating a Pines river with all the rain water that has fallen recently. They worked brilliantly as a team to make a river bed, channelling the water to where they wanted it to go. 3C also took part in the R.S.P.B Schools Bird watch, recording which birds visit the forest. For M.F.L day and to end the half term Green Group and 3C decorated large flags using green paint, they looked brilliant.
