As we come towards the end of the first half term in the Forest, classes have enjoyed getting cosy around the campfire. We have put the fire to good use by making and cooking lot’s of lovely campfire recipes. 2W enjoyed chocolate and blueberry baked bananas, while 1B and 1H made campfire cones with gooey marshmallow fillings. IP and 1W went down a more savoury route with Bagels and Pocket Pizzas. The adults in all the classes are really proud on how well the pupils sat and followed the Fire safety rules. Apart from cooking, we have also been busy decorating autumn trees, making forest potions, mark making, matching, blowing leaves and even Pumpkin carving. It has been so much fun that the 3 Bears came to visit, The pupils enjoyed using the mud kitchen to prepare their Porridge.
