Early Years started our week by celebrating ‘National Den building’ day. They had great fun building different styles and then going in, out and under them.
On Tuesday 4A prepared their own Pitta pizza’s. They spread tomato sauce and sprinkled their cheese on. We then baked them over the fire, they looked delicious. On Wednesday we welcomed Parents and Carers into the Forest for a Forest work shop. They had a chance to look around at all the forest activities, had a swing in the Hammocks and made some ‘Magic Toast’ Thank you to everyone who came. 2H also popped in this week as part of their Geography topic to sort recycling. They were amazing sorting paper, plastic and metal into different groups.
2R didn’t go on a Bear hunt but instead came into the forest for a ‘Rainforest Hunt’ they used the binoculars to find and match some of the Rain Forest animals they have been learning about. With such lovely warm weather the Forest has certainly been the place to be this week.
