We have had such a busy week in the Forest to end the academic year. It started with Early years enjoying campfire toast on Monday. Using the fire we also helped 4A to finish their wire sculptures.4A then enjoyed a relaxing session of free choice. On Tuesday 3F didn’t let the rain spoil their fun as they came for an end of term Fish and Chip picnic. Everyone enjoyed eating outside and then relaxing on the swings and hammocks. On Wednesday the real work started. 2R washed up all of the mud kitchen equipment ready to put it away for next year. They had lots of bubbly fun. In the afternoon 2B helped to clean the digging pit lorries and tractors using sponges and brushes to get all the mud off. Once this was done they also relaxed in the hammocks, rode our rocking horse and looked for birds. 4W finished the week with campfire S’mores and hot chocolate. They used the area, to play some brilliant team games not letting the rain dampen their end of term spirits.
