We have started the last half term in the Forest with sunshine and rain. On Tuesday 4A used the power of the sun to produce some amazing Solar Pictures. They also enjoyed taking turns on the swings. In the afternoon 3H used the Forest for their Geography lesson. The pupils searched for Flowers, Minibeasts, Leaves, Branches, worms and signs of the wind. They managed to find them all. We were all very excited to find lots of Ladybird larvae too, just turning into ladybirds. On Wednesday 2R used sticks and leaves to produce some wonderful leaf kebabs and drew some wonderful leaves as part of their Rainforest Topic. On Thursday the rain came down, this didn’t stop 2B though. They enjoyed investigating the rain as it ran off the tarp and listened to the sounds it made as it dripped onto cans. They finished their session with 10 fat sausages sizzling in the pan, which they then had and enjoyed as Hotdogs.
